Tala Neighborly
Introducting…
I am so excited to announce our newest initiative at Tala: Neighborly.
Tala Neighborly is like the milk man, but for coffee. Skip the shipping, skip the trip out of the house. Let us hand-deliver your orders so you get them fresh, fast and neighborly.
This idea was born our first year, even before we had the cafe, and customers could only get our coffee online. We began dropping off a few local orders. “That’s right on my way home, I’ll just drop it off,” or “oh that’s right on the way to the post office, I’d literally pass it just to get there.” It felt silly to let a post office do what we know we could do. Even still, we’ve been working out the kinks of exactly how to make it all happen, and we’re so happy to be able to present you with Tala Neighborly at such an opportune time.
Now more than ever it’s important to be neighborly to one another, to support our community, to see each other’s humanity and to do our part to help. We hope Neighborly does more than just save you a trip to the store, although that’s extremely important particularly now. We hope it provides an even deeper sense of connection and community, things we pride ourselves in at Tala. We are your neighbors, both as individuals and as a company.
How does it work?
Currently our route includes Libertyville, Green Oaks, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest. Highland Park, Highwood and Fort Sheridan addresses, due to their proximity to our locations, although we hope to expand further in time. If that’s you, shop all products eligible on our Tala Neighborly page and choose “Neighborly delivery” as your shipping option at checkout. Best of all, doing doorstep drop-off means we can add a few extra products that we can’t ship like cold brew and draft lattes.
