Winter Drink Menu

We have five seasonal drink menus every year. Yes that is correct—five, not four. We have TWO winter drink menus because midwest winter lasts so long, but also because we feel like there has to be holiday festive drinks for the first part of winter, but we all need a change of pace before long, don’t you think?

Here’s to our winter drink line up, to get us through the second winter season with delicious treats and lots of caffeine!

The Irish Goodbye

The Smooth Jazz

Just as Irish Coffee was originally invented to comfort worn and wearied travelers, our take on the beloved cocktail aims to do the same. Made with espresso, steamed milk, Irish whiskey reduction, sweetened condensed milk, almond and vanilla extracts and garnished with cocoa dust.

If this drink were a musician, it would be Kenny G: mellow, warm, rhythmic and easy-going. We combine a harmonious quartet of espresso, brown sugar, ginger and molasses bitters that is sure to set the mood and make you groove. It pairs wonderfully with a fire in the fireplace and, you guessed it, some smooth jazz coming through the speakers.

The Espresso Coquito

Coquito (little coconut) is a traditional wintertime Puerto Rican beverage using sweetened condensed milk, white rum, spices and coconut milk. We wanted to recreate this drink with an espresso twist. We featured this for the first time on our winter menu last year, but we’ve been getting requests to bring it back for months already, so we couldn’t wait any longer.

The Ice Melt

This salted, bourbon, caramel latte is perfect after shoveling snow for way to long and will definitely help thaw out those frozen hands and hearts alike. It starts with a bourbon reduction and house-made caramel syrup, then combined with espresso, steamed milk, and garnished with cracked sea salt on top.

Which is your favorite?
