This wonderfully vibrant coffee from Fazenda Boa Vista is the first coffee from Brazil we have ever sourced! In an endless sea of lower quality coffees produced in Brazil, this one flipped the script and blew us away. It's not only one of the best Brazil offerings we've ever tasted, but one of the better coffees we've tasted in general this year. Expect crisp and juicy watermelon, sugary lemon meringue, and fun tropical fruit tones.

Our friends at Coffee Quest never miss. Every coffee they purchase and make available to us is truly great and usually ends up being a fun game of "everything tastes amazing, but what do we like best?". We've never sourced a coffee from Brazil and feel like it's not often to come across a very high quality specialty coffee that doesn't have inherent flavor characteristics that we're fans of. So if there was any importer that was going to get their hands on a Brazil that we loved, it would be Coffee Quest. I ordered up samples of 4 of their fresh, incoming crops of Brazil, with this one from Fazenda Boa Vista being one of them! We will always cup through our table of samples, largely coffees from different importers and different countries of origin completely blindly. So coming across this one in particular, we noted a very exciting sweet citrus and tropical fruit forward profile. Lots of fluffy and sweet lemon, papaya, guava, and a through line of crisp, juicy watermelon. This one made me want to be sipping it on a warm spring day outside under the mellow, increasing sunshine. This is a Brazil that breaks the mold; you won't want to miss this one.
