Tala Tiki Time
Summer is finally here! School is out, days are long and bright, the weather is hot, and the beaches are already packed. But it isn’t just any summer, this is a relatively normal summer after so many months of cabin fever, masks, social distancing, and cancelled plans. That’s why we felt like this summer needed a little something extra, a little more celebration, a little more color and a lot more positive vibes. All summer long we are channeling the chill, care-free vibes with Tala Tiki Time. Our cafe is all-out decorated, we have new merchandise (and more on the way), and our summer menu is all Tiki-inspired drinks. We’re making up for lost time, lost connection, and lost celebration.
At Tala, we tend to “go hard" for any celebration we can. If you’ve been around for our cafe Birthday Bash, for instance, you know exactly what I mean.
In fact, celebrating runs deep in our company culture. Like in throwing parties for birthdays, accomplishments or goodbyes. Or in the way we promote someone to a key holder by “knighting” them as they kneel—and its always recorded so everyone can watch and congratulate them. Or even in the little ways, like our staff writing each other “good morning” notes on the bar.
Although we’ve done our best to keep the fun going throughout COVID, we’ve felt the sting of the changes this past year, and we know our community has, too. We are so happy to be moving out of that and into a new season with an exaggerated welcome to summer.
We can’t imagine a better theme that says party, relax, connect and be happy than Tiki.
