This coffee marks a special moment for us: our first fresh crop of the year from Huila, Colombia—and it couldn’t have arrived with better timing. After sourcing so many incredible Huila coffees throughout 2025, expectations were high, and this lot delivers in every way.

Coffees from Huila have been absolutely out of this world this year, and we were immediately intrigued by this double fermentation, single-varietal offering from one of our favorite producer groups, Mastercol. We’ve worked with Mastercol since our early days, and they’ve consistently delivered some of the most memorable coffees we’ve sourced since opening in 2017. What made this lot especially exciting was not only its quality, but its approachable price point, making a standout coffee that’s as accessible as it is exceptional.

In the cup, this coffee instantly reminded us of one of our favorites, La Victoria. Expect ripe, fresh red fruit flavors—cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry—layered with a beautiful stone fruit overtone of peach. The profile is vibrant, juicy, and remarkably clean, with the complexity and clarity shining through thanks to the immense care and intention behind the double fermentation process.
