Spring Drink Menu 2020
Our spring menu launch was delayed a few weeks due to COVID-19, but we’re excited it’s finally here! We have several exciting drinks to introduce to you. You will notice some returning drinks and some new. Overall we wanted to bring exciting, refreshing and comfort to the table with this menu. With the shelter-in-place we definitely think these spring drinks will be the excuse you need to get in your car and take a lap out of the house.
The Ube Latte
This is a returning drink from last year, but this time with a slight variation. Our take on the award winning, cult classic Ube Donut from our friends at Gurnee Donuts. Ube is a purple root vegetable that tastes like a vanilla wafer cookie. Trust us, it’s delicious! Made with espresso, Ube syrup, sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, and milk. Oddly enough, it pairs well with its pastry counterpart! Last year we created this drink without espresso, but so many people started adding it that we decided to make it officially come with espresso this year. This ube latte is a creamy combination of smashed ube, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut cream, all steamed together with milk.
The Rosa Chico
This “little rose” is a lively and playful drink that harkens back to a more simple time. We bring the vintage vibes with lemon, simple syrup, and our White Rose Melange tea, all served in a glass bottle of Topo Chico with a classic lemon wedge cork. Perfect for springtime merriment or relaxing book reading hammock sessions.
The Spring Forager
If you enjoyed our popular Winter Forager, you’ll love the current seasonal refresh of this fun and unique drink. It’s the same exciting nature walk, but this time with vibrant spring flavors that taste like a cherry coke on a warm day. Made with espresso, milk of your choice, Chaga Chai, almond syrup, and cherry bitters.
The Stockholm
Spring is upon us, and the bitterly cold, snowy months are in the past. The Stockholm is our celebratory toast to even better and warmer days ahead. This bright and fresh mocktail is made with lingonberry jam, sparkling water, espresso, simple syrup, and mint leaf garnish, served over ice. Grab one, and let’s cheers (6 feet apart of course) to making it through these wild times together.
