Spring Drink Menu 2022

The spring drink menu is always a favorite. There’s something about wrapping up the cold months and celebrating the coming of summer that just hits so right. These four spring drinks are going to make you want to roll the windows down and take in the fresh air.

With a few years under our belt, everyone is always wondering which of their favorites will return this season, and which new ones will arrive. Read on to find out.

The Ube Latte

This is a returning and reigning favorite. It’s our take on the award winning, cult classic Ube Donut from our friends at Gurnee Donuts. Ube is a purple root vegetable that tastes like a vanilla wafer cookie. Trust us, it’s delicious! Made with espresso, ube syrup, sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, and milk. Oddly enough, it pairs well with its pastry counterpart! Last year we created this drink without espresso, but so many people started adding it that we decided to make it officially come with espresso this year. This ube latte is a creamy combination of smashed ube, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut cream, all steamed together with milk.

The Dirty Horchata

Everyone has their favorite Highwood taqueria, but unlike your loyalty, this drink shows no partiality and pairs well with them all. This delicious iced drink is made with rice milk, brown sugar, vanilla and almond extracts, cinnamon, and cold brew concentrate. So good, you’ll find yourself drinking these all time with or without tacos.

The Main Squeeze

Long story short, this is definitely not your average lemonade stand lemonade. We’ve elevated ours with strawberry-basil syrup, sparkling water, Angostura bitters, and basil leaf garnish. You’re going to love these fresh spring flavors!

The Orange You Glad

Warmer weather is all the rage right now, as well as pairing orange juice and coffee together. We’re doing it right with this dreamy drink is sure to put a smile on your face. A curiously delicious combination of orange juice, cold brew concentrate, cream, vanilla, and old- fashioned bitters, all served over ice. Trust us, you don’t want to sleep on this one.
