Although specialty coffee over the last decade has slowly embraced the merits of cold brew, there was a time when cold brew was a specialty faux pas. That was about the time when we opened Tala, and unashamedly planted our flag on the team cold brew. 

Each year, we write down the things we’d love to see happen and begin the process of prioritizing them. One item has made the list every single year since 2017, and a few weeks ago, we finally crossed it off: Launching canned cold brew.

Summer is in full swing, and so is our seasonal lineup. This year’s menu brings back a mix of familiar favorites and fruity flavors built for warm-weather sipping. Our summer menu is perfect for hot days, slow mornings, and everything in between. Cheers! 🍋🍊🫐🍌

Our inspiration came from the classic root beer float—but instead of sticking to tradition, we wanted to ask ourselves the question of: does it float? using our seasonal menu. We tested out which of our drinks could be transformed into creamy, dreamy floats. The result? Unique coffee creations that are as fun to make as they are to drink.
