We’ve always had a soft spot for Rwandan coffees—and with good reason. They’re often some of the most balanced, sweet, and textured coffees we taste all year, and this season is no exception. When the new crop landed from our good friends at Cafe Imports, we knew it was time to start cupping. Their deep, longstanding relationships in Rwanda consistently yield some of the best coffees we see from the region.
Sure enough, Nganzo stood out from the first sip. It was a cup that practically sparkled—ridiculously sweet, layered, and dessert-like, without ever tipping into cloying or heavy. Just vibrant, cozy, and endlessly drinkable.
