This exceptional coffee from Loja, Ecuador, grown and meticulously processed by Angel Capa Carrion, has become a favorite among both our team and customers for its dense, syrupy sweetness and unmistakable citrus flavors that linger beautifully on the palate. Angel Capa Carrion comes from a long line of Ecuadorian coffee producers who have worked tirelessly to refine their craft. His farm, nestled in the lush mountains of Loja, benefits from ideal growing conditions—high elevations, volcanic soil, and cool temperatures—all of which contribute to the coffee’s exceptional sweetness and flavorful complexity. Angel and his family have perfected the art of growing coffee, handpicking only the ripest cherries and carefully processing them to preserve the vibrant flavors that make Finca Angamaza special.

Tasting this Finca Angamaza again gave me vivid flashbacks to how truly incredible it was last spring. All the familiar flavors that made me fall in love with this one last time were there, yet somehow were even more vibrant, more sweet, and more rich than last years. Tasting coffees like these are what truly make me appreciate how incredible and unique coffee is and can be.
