Established to meet growing production demands and to better serve the community of smallholder farmers in the area, Nano Genji is part of a second wave of innovation in Ethiopian specialty coffee.
Built with support from USAID and TechnoServe, and guided by Red Fox Coffee Merchants, Nano Genji represents a successful evolution of sustainable, quality-focused production in Agaro. Farmers here are paid premiums for picking ripe cherries and delivering clean, consistent lots—resulting in coffees that are among the most stunning in the world.
